Dorris Bacus, 81, of Athens, OH passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 at OBleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, OH.
She was born July 1, 1929 in Athens, OH daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel Buck Burke. She worked with Foster Grandparents and at Union Printing.
She is survived by a brother, Tom Burke; a sister, Luta Carsey; 5 nieces, Judy Deardorff, Cheryl Lee, Pam Stanley, Tammy Shields and Lavonne Burke; a nephew, Finley Burke; and several great-neices and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Blair; and 2 nephews, Kelly Blair and Gary Blair.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, Sept. 20, 2010 at Living Water Worship Center, Albany, OH with Phil Foster officiating. Burial will be in the Athens Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the church Sunday, from 4-6 P.M.
