REEDSVILLE-- Dorothy D. Hall passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 96 years of age. Dorothy was born March 1,1928 on Forked Run before it was a state park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hall; son, Gene (Jackie) Fields and daughter, Barbara (John) Hensley. Also, her father and mother, Charles and Elsie (Wilson) Crislip; Brothers, Bob, Dan, and Bill Crislip; Sisters, Alice (Minnis)Elliott and Margaret Raiguel.
She is survived by her son, Mike (Barbara) Hall as well as sisters, Lillian (Virgil) Richards and Carol (Fred) Althouse.
During World War II her sister Alice and she worked in Columbus in a factory for the war effort. Farming, home making and working at the “dairy queen in Tuppers Plains” took up her time.
She was truly blessed to be mother and grandmother to five generations of children with many nieces and nephews. Her influence will produce many ripples in the waters of time. May Jesus welcome her home.
There will be no visitation. A grave side service will take place at 3 P.M., on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Reedsville Cemetery. Flowers or contributions are not necessary. Thoughts and prayers are welcome.
