COOLVILLE—Donna Jean Godfrey, of Coolville, OH, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at her residence.
She was born July 14, 1947, in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Robert “Bob” and Ellen Parsons Nutter. Donna Jean attended the Faith Chapel Church in Coolville, OH. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Donna Jean is survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth and Richard Parsons; two sons, Thurl Edward and Elizabeth Godfrey and James Earl and Kathy Godfrey; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters, Sherlin and Delbert Smith, Sheila and Dennis Sams, Patty Haning and Mike McMilleon and Maxine Gearhart; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thurl Godfrey; two infant children and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH.
Visitation will be held Monday from 11 A.M. until time of service.
