Albany - Diana L. Rudolph, 73, of Albany, died unexpectedly, Monday, June 17, 2024, at her residence.
Born June 24, 1950, in Athens, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harold D and Betty J. Chandler Hayhurst. Diana was a 1968 graduate of Alexander High School. She worked for Columbus & Southern for several years before going to work at Ohio University from where she retired after 25 years of service. Diana was an avid pet lover and in her younger years enjoyed hunting and fishing. She loved to bowl in the Thursday afternoon league at the Roller Bowl for the Magic Triangle.
She is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Joseph L. Rudolph; one son, Joseph D. Rudolph; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Becky Hill and Jill Newman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kina Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Hughes Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio with John Pauley officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
