Diana K. Kinder, 68 of Shade, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. Born November 19, 1955 in Gallipolis, Ohio at Holzer Hospital, she was the daughter of Neacil E. and Jack W. Carsey of Middleport, Ohio.
She was a 1974 graduate of Meigs High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's of Science Degree from Rio Grande College, Class of 1978. She graduated in 2003 from Covenant Bible College and Seminary with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, where she also earned her Master of Arts and Doctorate of Philosophy in Theology in 2004 and was licensed to practice in Ohio, West Virginia, and Florida.
Diana’s hard work and career pursuits ranged across many places, working for Rio Grande College as a recruiter and finance officer, Nationwide Insurance as an agent, Bank One as a loan officer, and Prime America in sales and investments. She was also very active in the ministry as an Evangelist, motivational speaker, and pastor. Her passion was spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Aside from her spiritual accomplishments, animal rescue and placement was where her passion lay.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Marcus D. Kinder; sister, Jacqueline S. Webster; nieces, Danielle Webster, Julie Northup, Lisa Miller; and nephews, Bradley Webster and Christopher Ellis.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Neacil and Jack Carsey.
A celebration of life will be held at ArtsWest, 132 W. State Street, Athens, Ohio 45701 on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM. Those who send flowers are asked to have them delivered to Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home, 168 Morris Avenue, Athens, Ohio 45701 for the funeral home to deliver to the service.
