Denver Eugene "Gene" Sams, 73, of Coolville, OH passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 6, 2008.
Born Jan. 26, 1935 in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Arthur Benjamin and Ada Auddell Tebay Sams. He was retired from Stork Bakery and was a member of the Coolville Masonic Lodge 337 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bonnie Sams; 4 children, Dennis Sheila Sams, Pam Randy Wolf, Rita John Walter and Penny Steve Hall; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Josh, Jessica, David and Heather; 4 great-grandchildren, Chase, Isaiah, Hope and Brianna; a brother and 4 sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 4 sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, May 10, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Eric Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery, Coolville, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5-8 P.M. Masonic services will be held at 8 P.M.
