Denny S. Bolin, Jr.

 ATHENS-- Denny S. Bolin Jr., 67, of Athens, OH, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, at his residence.

 He was born Oct. 13, 1957, in Columbus, OH, son of Carol Thompson Bolin and the late Denny Bolin Sr. Denny was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Painters Union and loved oldies music and sharing it with others. He really loved his grandsons and was always happy and helpful to others. Denny enjoyed sharing poetry and socializing with fellow veterans at the Clem House.

 In addition to his mother, Carol, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Bolin and Brandon East; 2 grandsons, Justice and Daxon; 2 brothers, Timothy Bolin and Stephen and Eydie Bolin; sister, Lydia Billington and several nieces and nephews.

 Including his father Denny Sr., he was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Rose Larson and his best friend, Don Freed.

 Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Stephen Bolin officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Rock Cemetery, where military graveside services will be conducted by the Athens American Legion Post 21and the Albany VFW.

 Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 10 A.M. until time of service.
