David W. “Moose” Putman
COOLVILLE— David W. “Moose” Putman, 62, of Coolville, OH, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 11, 1960, in Parkersburg, WV, son of Ruth Ann Griffith Putman and the late Jimmie Lee Putman, Sr. Dave retired from MP Dory Construction and after retirement, he worked for Brian and Victor Young, at Willow Tree Renovation.
In addition to his mother, Ruth he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kimmy Jackson Putman; son, Michael and Melissa Putman; daughter, Lacey Putman; grandchildren, Rayland, Lydia and Allen; brothers, Jimmie Jr, Glen and Mike Putman; sister-in-law, Debbie Putman; brother-in-law, Keith Jackson and several nieces and nephews that he had a special bond with.
Including his father, Jimmie Lee Putman Sr., he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Putman; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Roscoe Jackson and two nephews, Jason Putman and Brandon LaBonte.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Stewart Cemetery in Hockingport, with Pastor Wayne Vogelsong officiating.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8 P.M. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville.
