David H. Mora
Pomeroy - David H. Mora, 70, a lifelong Meigs County resident passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center in Middleport.
Born June 27, 1951 in Pomeroy, Ohio, he was the son of Donald Mora and the late Mary Hayes Mora. He was a graduate of Eastern High School and Hocking College. David was a United States Air Force Veteran where he served in Thailand during the Vietnam era. He and his wife Sarah raised futurity foals and enjoyed horseback riding. When he took time to sit down, he enjoyed reading about guns and cars in various magazines. The biggest pleasure David had was farming with his father.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sarah Brown Mora; one daughter, Ay (Erek) Perry; four grandchildren, Gabreul, Jasiah, Jasmin andAleyah; three sisters, Sally (Gary) Gibson, Rhea Slawter and Mary (Robert) Troup and one grandson Seth Robertson.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother Mark Mora.
A memorial service and military services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Chester, Ohio with Duke Holbert officiating,
