David Barringer
David Barringer, 62, of Coolville, OH passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 at Arbors of Marietta.
He was born Feb. 22, 1953 in Alliance, OH son of Clyde Barringer and the late Dorothy Donohoe Barringer. He was an Army veteran, a member of the Coolville Masonic Lodge 337 where he was Past Master, Pomeroy 186 OES, DOA Chester 323 and the former Pastor of Bates U.M. Church in Athens.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Roush Barringer; his father, Clyde Barringer of Belpre, OH; a step-daughter, Susan and Doug Trout of Alexandria, KY; a step-son, Jim and Karen Pooler of Columbus, OH; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dottie and Ronnie Deem of Washington, WV, Rosa Barringer of Belpre, OH and Charlotte and Jim Smith of Coolville, OH; 3 brothers, Dan and Kim Barringer of Belpre, OH, Monty Ray and Ann Barringer of Reedsille, OH and Andy Barringer of Belpre, OH and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Dorothy Barringer, he was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers.
A Masonic service will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH followed by a funeral service with Pastor Gene Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in the Chester Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of service.
