Darren Anthony Shields

Darren Shields, beloved son, friend, and community member, passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 29. Darren was a rare soul, remembered and cherished by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. With a smile that could light up any room, he made people laugh, feel welcome, and inspired by his kindness and integrity. Darren had a special gift for lifting others up, always standing up for those who needed a voice and treating everyone with respect and compassion.

 Darren was a talented self taught drummer, bringing energy and life to every performance as part of two punk metal bands. He loved playing live shows and sharing his passion for music with the community. Beyond his musical talent, Darren was known for his strong work ethic and was highly respected by his coworkers and bosses alike. He was genuine, loyal, and dedicated—a person who truly did the right thing, no matter the circumstances. He had no known enemies and was loved by so many.

 Darren's family, friends, and all who knew him will remember him as a loving, lovable, and truly special person who left a lasting impression. His memory will be held in the hearts of those who loved him forever. He is survived by his brother Steven Shields, his Mother Debbie Six, and his Father, Paul Shields. `

 Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes Funeral Home where a celebration of life will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 3PM - 7PM.
