Darlene “Dolly” Reed

 REEDSVILLE—Darlene “Dolly” Reed, 89, of Reedsville, OH, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, at the Parkersburg Care Center.

 She was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Reedsville, OH, daughter of the late Claude and Gladys Rockhold Smith. Dolly was a member of the Faith Full Gospel Church for 35 years, the former owner of Dolly’s Restaurant and a retired bus driver for Eastern Local School District, with 35 years of service.

 She is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Sue Reed, Craig and Bobbie Reed and James and Terry Reed; grandchildren, Angie Devlin, Anthony Reed, Trinity Reed, Shawn (Kristin) Reed, Jenny (Gary) Miller, Jaimie (Lou) Thomas, Autumn Reed, Hunter Reed and Wyatt Reed; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Devlin, Eva Marie Reed, Aubrey Linton, Remi Michelle Reed, Taylor Miller, Emma Miller, Louis Thomas, Jesse Stout and Jameson Thomas.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Reed; grandson, Andrew Reed and a brother, Dale Smith.

 Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, at the Faith Full Gospel Church with her sons, James Reed, Steven Reed and Craig Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Reedsville Cemetery.

 Visitation will be held at the on Thursday, from 10 A.M. until time of service.
