Dalton "Dutch" Forrider
Dalton E. "Dutch" Forrider, 83, of Coolville, OH passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
He was born Aug. 12, 1925 in Marion, OH son of the late Charles and Martha Varner Forrider. He has been an active member of Boy Scouts of America for 61 years, a World War II veteran with a Bronze Star, a member of the Torch United Methodist Church and retired from Cecil Walker Machinery.
He is survived by his wife Edna Marie Clegg Forrider, his children, Christie Forrider, Barb Forrider, Dalton Warren Forrider, James and Susan Anderson, Bob and Jennifer Anderson, Leona and Keith Sears, Adrian and Cathy Anderson, Charles and Shannon Forrider, Blake Forrider and his special friend, Michele Stout; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, a sister, Pearl and Bill Colvin; 2 step-sisters, Vicky Sirkin and Sherry Graffenberger; and numerous special friends of the family.
Services will be held 1:30 P.M., Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Holley Null II and Seldon Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Meigs Memory Gardens, Pomeroy, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
