     ATHENS—Cynthia L. Finnearty, 73, of Athens, OH, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at her residence.

     She was born April 4, 1950, in Logan, OH, daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice Lash Brandon.  Cynthia was an avid reader and loved her grandchildren and her fur babies.

     She is survived by her husband, John Finnearty; 3 daughters, Nikole and Doug Berling, Brittnee and Kevin Lydy and Desiree Finnearty and 4 grandchildren, Lillyan, Peyton, Ezra and River.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Kurt.

     Per Cynthia’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

      Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home in Athens, OH.
