Pomeroy - Constance Garnes Craig, 83, of Pomeroy, died Friday, August 26, at The Arbors at Pomeroy.
Born January 31, 1934 in Pomeroy, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late August and Louise Jackson Garnes. Constance was a member of the Forest Run Baptist Church. She will be missed very much by all of those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Marvin "Rabbit" Craig; a daughter Sherdina Owsley; one granddaughter Shasta; four great grandchildren; one brother-in-law Theotis Solomon; a step-daughter Mary; a step-son Tony and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Guinther; a grandson Dwayne Smith; two brothers Owens and Harry Garnes and four sisters Edith Goodwin, Francis Solomon, Mabel Fowler and Hattie Dyer.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Rev. Eddie Buffington officiating. Burial will be in the Meigs County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00 on Thursday at the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home.
