Clarestine Margaret "June" Matheny, 85, of Reedsville, OH passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born June 18, 1922 in Reedsville, OH daughter of the late Winfred and Mamie Grim Blake. She was a member of White Chapel Church and a retired custodian for Riverview Elementary School.
She is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Eloise and Harold Boston, Karen and Roland Morris and Sharon and Walter Tuttle all of Reedsville, OH; two sons and dauhters-in-law, Herbert Jr. and Sue Matheny of Coolville, OH and David and Aida Matheny of Fallbrook, CA; a brother, Denard Blake of Sandusky, OH; 2 sisters, Audrey Clark and Shirley Balser both of Tuppers Plains, OH; 3 grandchildren, Randy Boston, Craig Matheny and Rachel Matheny; and 2 great-grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob Boston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Matheny Sr.; a son-in-law, Ira Showalter; and a brother, Floyd Blake.
Services will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Phil Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in the Heiney Cemetery, Reedsville, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
