Charles Colton "Chuck" Malone

Charles Colton "Chuck" Malone, 61 of Athens, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Born March 20, 1963 in Athens, he was the son of the late Colton Malone and Barbara Wheaton Malone. 

A 1981 graduate of Athens High School, Chuck went on to work in construction. He specialized in roofing and completed many jobs for our community. Outside of his work endeavors, he loved spending time outdoors and would often go fishing. He was a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves and would never miss watching a game on TV. He enjoyed many things though he prided himself on living a simple life.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Malone; sisters, Beckie (Jay) Blake, Jackie (Scott) Sinclair, Dee Blake; brother, Randal (Serena) Malone; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Alexandria Malone; brother, Kenny Malone; and nephew, David Keirns.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hughes Funeral Home where cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 2PM - 5PM at the Albany AmVets, 1055 Setty Road, Albany, OH 45710. Those who wish to sign the online guestbook may do so at www.ehwfh.com.
