Charles R. Collett, 57, of Glouster, OH passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH.
He was born May 24, 1958 in Parkersburg, WV son of the late Roy William and Ruth Southern Collett. He was an avid hunter and a member of the NRA. Charles was retired from Ohio University where he was a mechanic.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Brandie and Norman Pierce of New Marshfield and Brooke Collett of The Plains; a son, Dustin and Brandi Collett of Gallipolis; 3 grandchildren, Peyton and Bryson Pierce and Jayden Collett; a brother, Bill Collett of Guysville and a sister, Julie and Dave Welch of Coolville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At his request, Charles will be cremated and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
