Charles "Chuck" Bartels
Charles "Chuck" Bartels, 63, of Belpre, OH passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his residence.
He was born April 11, 1950 in Pomeroy, OH son of the late William and Louise Humphrey Bartels. He retired from AEP as a Civil Engineer and was an avid supporter of Eastern High School Athletics.
He is survived by a son, Josh Bartels; 2 daughters, Megan Bartels and Jessica Bartels (Michael VanMeter); a step-son, Jay and Bea Reynolds; a step-daughter, Jill and John Burdette; 7 grandchildren, Riley Ward, Jonathan Barrett, Jenna Burdette, Jordan Reynolds, Colton Reynolds, Kylee VanMeter and Sydney Reynolds; and a brother, Ed Bartels.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Bartles and a sister, Sally Ayers.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Ewing Funeral Home, Pomeroy, OH with Pastor Gene Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in the Chester Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service on Wednesday.
