Cecil V. Richardson Jr.
Cecil V. Richardson Jr., 82, of Coolville, passed away recently at his residence. Born in Frost, OH on Janary 8, 1925, he was the son of Cicil Richardson Sr. and Nina Russell Richardson.
He was a 1943 graduate of Carthage-Troy High School and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his return from service, he spent many years on the family farm before becoming a truck driver for Smith Concrete until his retirement.
He was a member of the Coolville Lodge #337 F&AM for over 60 years.
He is survived by a son, Bary of Hilliard, OH; three grandsons, Travis, Bryan and Logan; one granddaughter, Larissa all grandchildren are of Delaware, OH; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Richardson.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys M. Hall Richardson; and a brother, Thomas L. Jaela Richardson.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday at 11 A.M., at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Helen Kline officiating. Masonic services will be conducted by Coolville Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Richardson donated his body to the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and as such there will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to either the Arthritis Foundation or Childrens Hospital of Columbus.
