Catherine Y. Scott

ALBANY – Catherine Yvonne Scott, 70, of Albany, passed away early Saturday morning, February 3, 2018 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital.

Born December 17, 1947 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late John Edward Scott, Sr.; and the late Arlina Marie Race Scott Foreman.

She was a graduate of Alexander High School. She was a homemaker and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Keith) Reasoner; four grandchildren, Shelby (James) Williams, Taylor (Josh) Dotson, Kelsey Scott, Tiffany Reasoner; three great grandchildren, Gabby, Adalynn, and Gavin; three stepsisters, Darlene (Dan) Grubb of The Plains, Pam (Bruce) Llewellyn of New Marshfield, Judy Waite of Hixson, TN; and sever nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Scott; a sister, Theresa Hicks; two brothers, John Edward Scott, Jr., Steven Monroe Scott; her stepfather, Wallace Foreman; two stepbrothers, Franklin Leroy Foreman, and Robert Glenn Foreman.

Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Father Donald Horak officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery.
