Carolyn O. Taylor, 71, of Coolville, OH passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at her residence.
She was born June 25, 1942 in Akron, OH daughter of the late Arman N. Sr. and Eva E. Hughes Hart. She worked for Brockway Glass in Parkersburg having 15 years of service. She was also a member of Troy Township Senior Citizens and Vanderhoof Baptist Church, where she played the keyboard and piano and was a graduate of Carthage-Troy High School.
She is survived by her husband Charles "Tom" Taylor; a step-son, Brian Taylor; 2 brothers, Myron "Pete" and Linda Hart and Heamon "Tib" and Brenda Hart all of Guysville; 2 sisters-in-law, Judy Hart of Guysville and Kathy Dobbins; a brother-in-law, Robert Hess; a special friend, Gail Jones and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Jean Ann Jones and Christina Kay Jones; a brother, Arman "Sam" Hart, Jr.,; a half brother, Gaile Dobbins; and a sister, Daytha L. Hess.
Services will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Vanderhoof Baptist Church, 23305 Moyis Rd., Coolville, OH, with Pastor Craig Holler officiating. Burial will be in the Carthage Cemetery.
Friends may call at Vanderhoof Church Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
