Burl Leon Putman, Sr., 62, of Coolville, OH passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011 at CCMH-St. Joseph's Campus, Parkersburg, WV.
He was born Feb. 3, 1949 in Hockingport, OH, son of the late Woodrow and Mary Margaret Clem Putman. He was a member of Labors Union Local 574.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bonnie Leaper Putman; 2 sons, Burl Jr. and Julie; Ronnie and Charlyn; a daughter, Teresa and Justin Pinkerton; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at Stewart Cemetery, Hockingport, OH with Rev. Charles Martindale officiating.
