Bobby J. Barringer
REEDSVILLE—Bobby J. Barringer, 62, of Reedsville, OH, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at his residence.
Bobby was born on Jan. 4, 1962, to the late Ernie and Ferra Lou Barringer. He went to Eastern High School and was a volunteer fire fighter for Olive Township Station 9 Fire Department, with over 35 years of service. Bobby was a loving husband, father, papaw, friend and firefighter. He would do anything he could to help anyone out.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan (Roseberry) Barringer; 3 daughters, Robin (Greg Burke), Melissa (Sam) Delancey, Sara (Eric) Batey; 2 sons, Matthew (Felicia) Barringer, Gregory (Kelsey) Barriger; 4 grandsons, Hunter Eli Batey, Logan Edward Batey, Gage Dayton Barringer, Bentley Nicholas Barringer; granddaughter, Isabelle Grace Barringer; step-granddaughter, Ray Ray; 4 brothers, Rick (Debbie) Barringer, Donnie (Pam) Barringer, Brian (Melissa) Barringer, Mitchell (Lisa) Barringer; sister, Jody (Mike) Goeglein; several nieces and nephews and his Boston Terrier puppies, Buttercup, Winston and Daisey, whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 3 months 12 days old son, Jeremy Lee Barringer and 2 sisters, Kathy Hetzer and Bonnie Pooler.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the hospice team and nurse Baylee Collins and staff for everything you have done for our family.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Tom Scyoc officiating. Burial will follow in the Eden Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, from 5-8 P.M.
