Betty Fury, 82,of Little Hocking, OH entered Heavens gate on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 at Arcadia Nursing Center in Coolville, OH.
She was born Dec. 2, 1933 in Parkersburg, WV daughter of the late Leamon "Skinny" and Gladys Beckett Cross. She attended the Gospel Baptist Church in Torch and was an avid coin collector and artist.
Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Fury of Little Hocking; a daughter and son-in-law, Tia and Roger Holsinger of Reedsville; a son, Bret Fury of Little Hocking; 5 grandchildren, Derek and Becky Holsinger of Belpre, Jeremiah Smith of Arkansas, Danielle and Shawn Barnhart of Lowell, Bridget Holsinger of Marietta and Dustin Brooks; a sister, Darla Haffner of Tampa, FL; an aunt, Wilda Sheppard of Elizabeth, WV and 5 great-grandsons.
In addition to her parents, Leamon "Skinny" and Gladys Beckett Cross, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Leamon Cross.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
