Arthur Wade McGirr, 78, of Little Hocking, OH died on February 5, 2012 at Selby General Hospital.
He was born on August 4, 1933, the son of the late Arthur and Goldie Pierce McGirr. He was retired from Kaiser/International Converter in Belpre, OH.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Husk McGirr; his daughter, Keron Eldon Brown; his son, Joe McGirr Jane McGirr all of Little Hocking, OH; 4 grandchildren, Michael McVicar Mary of Gahanna, Emma, Seth and Jed McGirr all of Little Hocking, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lee and two sisters May and Mary.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH, with Pastor Jenni Dunham officiating.
Burial will be in the Decatur Methodist Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
