Arthur Joe McGirr

LITTLE HOCKING—Arthur Joe McGirr, 68, of Little Hocking, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1956, in Parkersburg, WV to the late Arthur and Hazel Husk McGirr.

 He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed spending time on his farm with his family and his beloved dog, Lucy.

 Arthur is survived by his wife of forty years, Jane Fruchey McGirr; two sons, Seth McGirr (Cynthia Starcher), and Jedidiah McGirr; one daughter Emma McGirr (Benjamin Tucker); one sister Keron (Eldon) Brown; a sister in law Ellen Fruchey (L.E.) Cook and their daughters Amanda Cook and Katie (Jason) Marostica; and a nephew Michael McVicar.

 He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Hazel McGirr.

 A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M., Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating.

 The family will be accepting friends and family at the funeral home Wednesday, from 5 P.M. until the time of service.
