Alvin Depoy

Alvin Depoy, 78, of Guysville, OH passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis, OH.
He was born July 11, 1936 in Monterville, WV son of the late Arden Ray and Merle Burnside Depoy. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, a 25 year member of Athens Masonic Lodge 25 F&AM and he retired from the Operating Engineer Local 18 in Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Humphrey Depoy; a son, Randy and Debbie Depoy; a daughter, Linda and Brad; 5 grandchildren, R.J., Damon, Renee, Joey and Colby; and 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Miya, Sophia and Avery.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Depoy and his significant other, Dee Dee.
Services will be held at 12 P.M., Friday, March 27, 2015 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Gene Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in the Meigs Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 A.M. until time of service.
