Alvin LeRoy Blake
LITTLE HOCKING—Alvin LeRoy Blake, 78, of Little Hocking, OH, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 15, 1942 in Coolville, OH, son of the late Alvin Ray and Hazel Louise Gregory Blake. Alvin was an Air Force Veteran and attended the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Porterfield. He retired from G.E. Plastics, where he was a lab technician.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rosalie Rogers Blake; son, Steve Blake; 2 daughters, DeDe Thompson and Jenny Blake; 3 grandchildren, Tyler Blake, Megan Thompson and Johnathan Thompson; 3 great-grandchildren, Kylee Thompson, Bentley Krantz and Carson Haynes; sister, Mae Vensel and special friends, Joe and Sally Crider and Jenny Lance.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Blake and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M., Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, from 5-7 P.M.
