Alice M. Ratliff

     Athens- Alice M. Ratliff, 66, of Athens, died unexpectedly, Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus.

     She was born on November 4, 1956, in Richardson, Kentucky. Alice was a hair stylist in the Athens area for over forty-five years.  She was recognized by her peers receiving many awards for her abilities.  She was also known for her solid educational background and she was a mentor to many young hair stylists throughout her career.  Alice volunteered for many organizations in the Athens area including My Sisters Place.  She was a member of the Athens Amvets Post 76, Athens VFW, the Athens American Legion Post 21 and the Athens Elks.

     She is survived by many brothers and sisters including Eugene Ratliff and a niece Tina Hall.

     There will be a gathering of friends at 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the Athens Amvets Post 76 located at 20 Campbell Street in Athens.  

     In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Athens County Humane Society, PO Box 765 Athens, Ohio 45701.
