Uldine Lewis

MILLFIELD – Uldine Lewis, 89, of Millfield, died Monday evening, May 8, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Born August 22, 1927 in Millfield, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Velma Powell Wemer. She was graduate of Chauncey Dover High School. She is survived by three children, John (Mary) Lewis of Stewart, Cyndi (Glenn) Hanson of Stewart, Tina (Warren) Schall of Glouster; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters, Genevieve Tom of Athens, and Donna Sue Matthews of Corning. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lewis; a granddaughter, Dawn Reynolds; a sister, Vera Rhoades; and three brothers, Floyd “Tinker”, Hugh, and Robert Lee Wemer. Services will be Sunday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Flinn officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.
