Dorothea M Coey

THE PLAINS—Dorothea M. Coey, 79, of The Plains, died Tuesday afternoon March 14, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Born May 24, 1937 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Mable Buck Thompson. Dorothea is survived by her two sons, Paul (Daileen Humphrey) Osborne and Tom (Brandi Taylor) Coey, a sister, Sue (Paul) McIntosh, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Coey, a sister Maxine Guisinger, a brother Dean Thompson, and an infant sister Nancy Thompson. Funeral services will be Monday March 20, 2017 at 1PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Radcliff officiating. Burial will be in West Union Street Cemetery.
