ALBANY – Jeffrey Don Bennett, 48, of Albany, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening, February 20, 2017 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born October 4, 1968 in Athens, Jeff leaves behind to grieve the loss of their baby boy, Donald and Patricia Cowan Bennett. He was a graduate of Federal Hocking High School where he participated in the Band. He was an EMT formerly working for SEOEMS and had been employed at Schneider National for 20 years. Jeff owned and operated Federal Photo in Wooster, Ohio, where he made his home for a number of years. The business specialized in weddings, senior shoots, and action sports that resulted in many close and lasting friendships. Jeff loved traveling and photographing our National Parks. He was kind, gentle, giving and polite to everyone he met. Besides his parents, he will be sorely missed by his adoring and protective big sisters, Jackie (Tim) Hanning of Albany, Ann (Randy) Rohrer of New Holland; three nephews and a niece, Travis, Troy, Trent, and Trista Rohrer; a great niece, Addaline Rohrer; his faithful and constant animal companions, Sable and Bella. He was preceded in death by an infant brother. Services will be Friday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. John Wright officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Athens County Memory Gardens.
