THE PLAINS – Cindy Jo Meek, 56, of The Plains, died Thursday morning, December 22, 2016 at The Laurels of Athens. Born February 25, 1960 in Spangler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Janet Somogyi Bagley. She was a graduate of Athens High School and had worked as a Registered Nurse at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital for almost 20 years. She is survived by two daughters, Jamie (Harold) Johnson of Millfield, Heather Meek of The Plains; three grandchildren, Caleb Johnson, Isaiah Jackson Dupler, Carter Dupler; and a sister, Vicki Rosser. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Meek; and a brother, Richard Bagley. No services will be observed.
