SHADE – Cleatus Lee Ferrell, Sr., 82, of Shade, died early Friday morning, December 16, 2016 at Arbors of Pomeroy. Born April 5, 1934 in Williamson, West Virginia, he was the son of the late George and Orva Tiller Ferrell. He was a former coal miner, later moving to Norwalk where he retired from Norwalk Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Ida Mae Varney Ferrell; a son, Cleatus Lee Ferrell, Jr.; a granddaughter, Kristen Ferrell of Dayton; a great granddaughter, Joey Ferrell; and a sister, Ruby of Norwalk. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Polly Ward; and two brothers, Frank and Junior “June Bug” Ferrell. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Grueser officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
