Charles Frederick Schall

GUYSVILLE - Charles Frederick “Chuck” Schall, 83, of Chillicothe, formerly of Guysville, died Friday afternoon, October 14, 2016 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. Chuck was born March 4, 1933 in Athens and was the son of the late William Henry, Sr. and Etta Lonas Schall. Chuck was a 1952 graduate of Rome Canaan High School and a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from GE Plastics in Parkersburg, WV and loved hunting, fishing and his late dog, Bingo. Chuck was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. Chuck is survived by seven children, Steven Charles (Michelle) Schall of Guysville, Kim (Skip) Blinn Gearhart of Marietta, Timothy Mark Schall of Wetumpka, AL, Matthew Todd (Jennifer) Schall of Roanoke, VA, Theresa Christine Schall of Athens, Joanna Marcia (Daryl) Glover of Asheboro, NC, Junie (Jim) Day of Frankfort; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Karen Ackley, Mary Lou Hartley, three brothers, William “Willie”, Walter and Roger Schall. Besides his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Schall. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Monte McCune officiating. Burial will be in South Canaan Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
