THE PLAINS – Michael Albert “Hal/Tweeter” Brockway, 64, of The Plains, left our world for a more peaceful one on Friday, July 22, 2016 at his home. This sweet, loving man was a great son, brother, uncle, cousin, father, partner, “poppie” and amazing friend. He will forever remain in our hearts, hugs and smiles. Michael, was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Born September 17, 1951 in Jersey City, NJ, he is survived by his mother Mary Patricia Gunnell Brockway of Haddonfield NJ, and predeceased by his biological father John Ensor. He is also survived by his life partner, Beth Strassman; a son, Nyle Liam Brockway; six siblings: Mark Brockway, Deborah Mary Temple, Cynthia Herrmann, Kathleen Bridge, Sharon Reynaga, Anne Schwallenberg, multiple brothers and sisters in laws; three stepchildren, a step grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home.
