ATHENS – Luke Vern Riley, 41, of Athens, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, April 2, 2016 in The Plains. Born January 13, 1975 in Athens, he was the son of Harley Vern and Opal Marie Barnes Riley. Following his Baptism, he received his Certificate of Ministry. Besides his parents, he is survived by two children, Morgan Elizabeth Riley, Kyle Vern Riley; a sister, Tina (Dave) McMannis; his paternal grandfather, Vern Riley; three nephews; a niece; and a grandniece, baby Claire. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Riley; paternal grandmother, Thelma Riley; and maternal grandparents, Frank and Edith Barnes. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Radcliff officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery.
