ATHENS – Judith E. Douglas, 70, of Athens, died Thursday morning, February 25, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born July 13, 1945 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Ruth E. Ogg Snow. She was a Graduate of Athens High School and attended Ohio University. She was a former employee of the Athens Mental Health Center and was a former teachers aide at Chauncey Elementary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was an avid NASCAR and Ohio State Football fan. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mark; two children, Kristin (Mike) Sayre of Athens, Jason Douglas of the home; four stepchildren, Christopher (Brenda) Douglas of Union, MO, Michele (Lloyd) Merrick of Stewart, Lisa (Greg) King of Stewart, Barry (Karen) Douglas of Athens; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cierra Nicole Douglas. Friends may call at the Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
