Carl Junior Frank

ATHENS – Carl Junior Frank, 94, of Athens, died Thursday morning, January 14, 2016 at The Laurels of Athens. Born November 14, 1921 in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Carl E. and Lulu Edna Wolf Frank. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School and was a former employee of Frank Brothers Coal Mine. He retired from Ohio Brass in Barberton and was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He is survived by two children, Larry (Cindy) Frank of Cuyahoga Falls, Joyce Frank of Athens; five grandchildren, Brian Frank (Shannon Delagrange), Brett Frank (Jillian Vansuch), Emily Baltic (Matt) Ziegler, David Deal (Natalie Schell), Kevin Deal; four great grandchildren, Bohdi Frank, Korina Ziegler, Ava Ziegler, and Jack Deal. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leva Frank; four brothers, Henry, Denver, Max, and Leonard Frank. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
