Frederick Morris

ATHENS—Frederick “Rick” Morris, 60, of Lancaster, formerly of Athens, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio. Born May 16, 1955, he was the son of the late Dale A. and Louise Douglas Morris. He was owner and operator of Morris Trucking and a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Claudette, daughter Jessica Morris, of Carroll, grandson Jayde Stevenson and granddaughter Kyrah Stevenson, both of Carroll, two sisters, Sharon Morris Gross and Carolyn Sue Morris, both of Columbus, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his four brothers, Robert, Richard, Kenneth, and Garry Morris. Services will be Thursday at 1:00PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with burial in Bates Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Thursday from 11AM until the start of the service.
