ATHENS – Paul C. Bradford, 85, of Athens, died Friday morning, October 16, 2015 at The Lindley Inn. Born March 7, 1930 in Racine, he was the son of the late Otto and Lottie Rose Bradford. He was a graduate of Racine High School and Columbus College of Art and Design. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and he retired from Ohio University in 1990 as Senior Designer of the Publications Department with over 20 years of service. He was a well known artist, especially for his watercolor paintings of Southeastern Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Bobbi; two children, Lisa (Matt) McConnell of Nashville, TN, Todd (Christy) Bradford of Guysville; one stepson Jeff Jones (Brenda) of Canal Winchester; five grandchildren, Alex McConnell, Josh McConnell, Evan Bradford, Mikayla Bradford, Shawn Jones; and a brother, Gail (Mary) Bradford of Racine, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Curtis, and Brian Bradford. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McDowell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service.
