Linda D McCune

THE PLAINS – Linda D. McCune, 50, of The Plains, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at her residence after a long battle with cancer. Born February 7, 1965 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late John and Juanita Wigal McCune. She is survived by three children, a son Randall (Lindsey) McCune of The Plains, a daughter Salena McCune and Shane Russell of New Marshfield, a daughter Lacy (Randy) Eblin of The Plains; brothers and sisters, Rick (Sharon) McCune, Betty McCune all of New Marshfield, Kathy West and Grant (Sharon) McCune all of Albany, Margaret (Howie) Maynard of Nelsonville, Brenda (Matt) Willison of Millfield, Julie McCune and Sonny Rimer of The Plains, nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Christopher McCune-Hamilton; a brother, John H. McCune, Jr.; a sister, Jean Ann McCune; and the father of her children, Randall “Catfish” Hamilton. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Dodridge officiating. Burial will be in New Marshfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday two hours prior to the service.
