Martha Farson

ATHENS – Martha Farson, 81, of Athens, died early Thursday morning, September 17, 2015 at her home. Born May 29, 1934 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Dessie Ellis Lee. She is survived by two sons, Keith Farson and Fred (Sarah) Farson; a daughter-in-law Ibby (Mike) Martin; five grandchildren, Pamela Farson, Cheryl Slone, Ashley (Frank) Campbell, Misty (Brad) Adams, Austin Farson; three great-grandchildren, Donovan Slone, Frankie Campbell, Sidney Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John “Gene” Farson, her five brothers, and two sisters. Services will be Monday, at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Denver Dodrill officiating. Burial will be in Bates Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday two hours prior to the service.
