Anita K Ulbrich

ATHENS – Anita K. Ulbrich, 72, of Athens, died late Friday evening, September 11, 2015 at her home. Born July 16, 1943 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Garnet Bowles Ulbrich. She was a graduate of Athens High School and retired from Ohio University with over 25 years of service. She was an avid bowler and loved playing bingo. She is survived by her son, Mike Weekley of The Plains; four granddaughters, Natasha (Mark) Quinn of Albany, Crystal (Corey) Uribe of Athens, Jessica Clay of Lancaster, Samantha (Joe) Shiller of Athens; 13 great grandchildren; and many family and friends; and also her special side kick, Ladybug. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Yurek; a grandson, Jason Weekley; and a great grandson, Mark Quinn, Jr. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Alexander Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
