Dortha L Smith

ATHENS – Dortha L. “Dotti” Smith, 60, formerly of Athens, was welcomed by her mother and into the arms of the Lord. Born November 5, 1954 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Schall and Mary Litteral Schall Weekley. She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Schall, Kevin Austin, Matthew Buckner; two grandchildren, Danielle and Khloe; a brother, Bernard Lee Weekley; an aunt, Kay Kay Litteral; an uncle, James Buck; and many nieces, nephews, cousins; and two special friends, Freda Schultz and David. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Buckner, her second husband, James Smith; an infant son, David Buckner; a sister, Pamela Conner; and a brother, Jeffrey (Jay Litteral) Weekley. Services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday two hours prior to the service.
