Mellisa A Starkey

CHAUNCEY – Melissa A. Starkey, 46, of Chauncey, died Monday evening, July 20, 2015 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital After a courageous battle from multiple illnesses. Born November 13, 1968 in Athens, she was the daughter of Margaret Taylor Jackson and the late John Jackson. She enjoyed fishing and loved her kitty’s. Besides her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Tawni Jackson, Jessica Starkey and fiancé Brock Thompson; two sisters, Angie (Scott) Weston, Sondra Bolin and fiancé Dave Harris; a brother, John Michael Jackson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special friend, Ernie McKnabb. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
