STEWART – Dawn Marie Reynolds, 40, of Stewart, died unexpectedly, Sunday, May 24, 2015 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital. Born September 10, 1974 in Millfield, she was the daughter of Donald Jackson (Connie) Mingus of Millfield and Cyndi (Glenn) Hanson of Stewart. She was a 1992 graduate of Athens High School and was a Registered Nurse at Athens Surgery Center. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Mike; two children, Quinton Alexander Brooks, and Sara Margaret “Maggy” Delaney both of the home; a sister, Mandi (Myron Hart) Mingus of Athens; her paternal grandmother, Sarah Pauline Mingus of Athens; her maternal grandmother, Uldine (Wemer) Lewis of Millfield; two stepchildren, Alexis and Breanna Reynolds; four step sisters, Angie (Tyler) Schloss of Athens, Shannon James of Athens, Brooke Hanson of Marietta, Ashley Guerrero of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, David James. A brief service will be held Wednesday at 7 PM, May 27, 2015 at The Plains United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Flinn officiating. Friends may call Wednesday at the church from 2 to 7 PM. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday May 30, 2015 at 7 PM at the Lackey Cabin in Stewart.
