Sue C. Stephenson

ATHENS – Sue C. Stephenson, 78, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Athens, died Wednesday morning, April 22, 2015 at her home. Born February 18, 1937 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Ralph W. and Vera Mae Porter Clark and was an Athens High School Graduate. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George; a son, Col. James E. (Lene) Stephenson stationed in the Army at Fort Knox, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Stephenson; and a son, George Stephenson. Graveside services will be Monday at 2:00 PM West Union Street Cemetery with Rev. Wendy Lybarger officiating.
