Roma L. Crislip

ATHENS – Roma L. Crislip, 77, of Athens, died Friday, February 20, 2015 at The Laurels of Athens. Born March 8, 1937 in Shade, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Anna Sargent Williams. Roma was an avid bingo player. She is survived by three daughters, Vickie of WV, Linda (Mike) Edes of Bremen, Karen Gabriel of Albany; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Roger (Jane) Williams of Franklin, KY. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Crislip; a son, Ben Gabriel; two sisters, Joyce Browning, Eva Lewis; and two brothers, Earl E. and Fletcher M. Williams. Services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Bolin officiating. Burial will be in Shade Cemetery.
